My name is Robina Kaira I was born in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. At the age of eight my family started traveling around the world; these travels have greatly enriched and expanded my art. Art has always been my way of escape from reality.

My interest in art , graphic design and animation began with my first Disney cartoon. I remember wondering and trying to figure out how they created those cartoons. So I practiced and researched until I discovered how. Now I have an idea how to create that magic that is graphic design to me. It is art that speaks and tells a story about the world around me.

My influences are drawn from my life experiences, travel, books that I have read, films i have seen, and people that I have met. I strongly believe that art expresses one's emotions and feelings. It helps the artist connect with the audience at a deeper level. My art work consists of, drawings , illustrations, graphics, type etc.

Hopefully my portfolio tells a story and asks questions of the viewer, enjoy.
